Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Building Materials Sales Professional to drive sales growth through effective management of designated territories and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits, product recommendations, and technical expertise.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales decisions and optimize territory assignments.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, product innovations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales plans, budget forecasts, and process improvements.
• Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of sales objectives.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience in Building Materials (lumber, roofing, drywall, steel framing, windows preferred).
• Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop strategic solutions.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
