Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking an experienced Building Materials Sales Professional to drive sales growth through effective management of designated territories and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits, product recommendations, and technical expertise.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales decisions and optimize territory assignments.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, product innovations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales plans, budget forecasts, and process improvements.
- Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of sales objectives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience in Building Materials (lumber, roofing, drywall, steel framing, windows preferred).
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
