Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to designated locations and return to the base.
- Perform routine truck inspections and basic maintenance before and after trips.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, including hours traveled, miles driven, and expenses.
- Communicate promptly about delays, accidents, or vehicle issues.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as an OTR or truck driver.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and proficiency with GPS tools.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
