What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Litigation Associate position at gpac?
We are a nationally recognized litigation and appellate law firm with an outstanding reputation throughout the area. We are looking to add a full-time patent litigation associate to our team. This position will offer extensive hands-on experience and the opportunity for domestic travel.

Minimum Background Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- License to practice in IL.
- Academic credentials in one of the following:
- Electrical Engineering.
- Computer Science.
- Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of patent litigation experience required.
- Previous experience and understanding of all aspects of patent litigation (including but not limited to)
- Due diligence, patent portfolio assessment, claim charting, technical analysis, discovery, depositions, brief drafting, and trial work.
- Understanding and knowledge of telecom, computer science, and wireless standards.
- Strong technical skills along with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Not required to be admitted to the US PTO.
- The position will transition into a hybrid role after a month or two.
