Gpac is currently working with a large food production organization that has an immediate need for a Processing Manager at one of their facilities in Central Ohio. This organization has gone through substantial growth over the last year and is one of the top 5 producers in their industry. The Processing Manager will be responsible for managing the overall production and processing operations, while reporting to the Senior Operations Team and GM.
- Manage and lead processing employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Develop and write production schedules to meet operational goals and customer demands.
- Implement, and enforce SOPs for each piece of equipment and all processes.
- Oversee processing maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
- Ensure all sanitation practices are adhered to and maintained throughout the processing facility.
- Manage the Food Safety & Quality Program as established, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate and complete production records and charts
- Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management level leadership working within food production
- Must have a working knowledge of all equipment and processes and procedures to reduce downtime, reduce costs, and increase efficiency while meeting production deadlines.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work task.
