Project Architects / Senior Designer
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Architect or Senior Designer for our growing architectural department. This is a full-time position with long-term growth opportunities in an amazing small firm environment. They do a diverse array of work from interior remodeling to multi-million dollar commercial and industrial projects. They are looking for candidates that possess most or all of the following abilities :
Ability to develop conceptual and presentation drawings as well as technical drawings for all phases of project documentation
Ability to understand the client and stakeholders’ vision and key factors for project success
Demonstrate an ability to work on multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule constraints
Plans and programs layout of project; coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
Interact and communicate effectively with team members, clients and other agencies
Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards of architectural design, detailing, IBC building codes and basic MEP systems
Assist in research and coordination of materials and product for project specifications
Develop solutions to design assignments and technical problems
Participate in the marketing of new clients, presentations and trade shows
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Position Requirements :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture for Project Architect position
Registered Architect or progress toward becoming a Registered Architect for Project Architect position
3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural position
Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and professional commitment
Self-starting with strong work ethic and time management skills
Team player willing to accept a full range of responsibilities
Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, COMcheck, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modeling or rendering software
