Position Overview
We're seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead ground-up retail construction and fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail construction, a deep understanding of fast-paced buildouts, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Oversee all phases of retail construction projects, from planning to turnover.
✅ Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client expectations.
✅ Work closely with architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
✅ Conduct site visits, resolve field issues, and maintain safety compliance.
✅ Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
✅ Ensure all fit-out projects align with brand and landlord requirements.
Qualifications
✔ 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in retail construction.
✔ Proven track record of managing ground-up and fit-out projects.
✔ Strong knowledge of permits, inspections, and retail-specific build requirements.
✔ Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
