Currently working with a client that needs a Purchasing Manager for a fleet, warehousing, and distribution company to play a critical role in overseeing all purchasing activities, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, and securing best prices. Purchasing Manager will be required to have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage relationships with supliers and vendors.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or other related field
- 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement manager role within manufacturing or distribution industry
- Experience in managing suplier relationships and negotiating contracts
- Must have strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in analyzing market trends and purchasing data
- Knowledge of cost analysis and financial forecasting
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure the best possible deals
- Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing strategy to optimize inventory levels, manage supply chain risks, and meet customer demands
- Monitor stock levels, order quantities, and reorder points to minimize stockouts or overstock situations
- Monitor purchasing costs and work within established budgets to maintain financial targets
- Oversee the order cycle, from purchase requisition to order fulfillment
- Lead price negotiations with existing and potential suppliers
- Stay informed on market trends, supply chain disruptions, and material availability
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to align purchasing decisions with customer demand, and warehouse capacity
- Provide regular purchasing reports, inventory analysis, and supplier performance reviews for senior management
- Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
