We are a highly regarded law firm in Nashville, TN specializing in commercial real estate, finance, and corporate transactions. We are currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal with 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance to join our team.
The Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role in supporting our real estate and finance practices. This role involves working closely with attorneys, clients, and third parties to manage complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, financing, and more. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate and finance, with a deep understanding of real estate law and transaction processes.
Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, and filing of real estate and finance-related documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and closing documents.
- Manage due diligence for commercial real estate transactions, including reviewing title reports, surveys, zoning, environmental reports, and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate and manage closing processes for real estate transactions, including liaising with clients, lenders, title companies, and other third parties.
- Draft and revise real estate-related documents such as leases, loan agreements, amendments, and assignments.
- Maintain and organize transaction files, including all correspondence, documents, and legal notices.
- Conduct legal research on real estate law and finance regulations.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare closing checklists and binders for commercial real estate deals.
- Assist with the preparation of financing documents and analyze financial statements related to transactions.
- Handle various administrative tasks related to real estate transactions, including calendaring and filing.
