About the Role
As the Area Operations Manager , you will oversee and coordinate all branch operations, ensuring seamless functionality across equipment, warehouse processes, dispatch / transportation, and counter sales. You will play a critical role in developing strategies to maximize efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain a high-performance culture.
What You’ll Do
- Optimize Performance : Establish, monitor, and maintain key performance metrics, including order fill rates, on-time delivery, equipment utilization, and inventory accuracy.
- Audit and Strategize : Conduct regular audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement tactical solutions to drive operational excellence.
- Team Leadership : Facilitate operations meetings with location managers, provide clear direction, and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Budget Oversight : Assist in budget preparation and ensure compliance with departmental budgets, labor costs, and expenses.
- Efficiency Focus : Improve warehouse and delivery processes to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management : Monitor product flow, optimize space and labor utilization, and oversee inventory levels and cycle counts.
- Customer Engagement : Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction, partnering with sales management for seamless communication and training.
