As a REMOTE TRANSPORTATION SALES AGENT/ FREIGHT BROKER, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers and agents. Your negotiation and communication skills will be put to the test as you navigate the world of freight brokerage.
**Position Responsibilities: **
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and agents
- Negotiate and secure transportation contracts
- Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Utilize existing relationships to drive sales and expand client base
- Collaborate with team members to optimize transportation operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carriers
- 7 years of experience in freight brokerage and/or 5 years in transportation sales
- Ability to prove you can produce and know the business
- At least 10 years working in logistics
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Existing relationships with carriers and agents
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment
