Senior Electronics Component Engineer Position
We are seeking a senior-level Electronics Component Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the control of electronic part requirements and ensuring compliance with program standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
The Senior Electronics Component Engineer role involves:
- Generating Source Control Drawings (SCDs) and reviewing supplier control documentation.
- Verifying part program requirements, including approved parts lists, nonconformance reports, and test documents, for compliance.
- Reviewing and evaluating incoming inspection data, vendor/manufacturer QPL, and certificates of conformance.
- Creating part-specific data packages and generating discrepant material reports (DMRs).
- Managing data configuration, logging, and storage within electronic databases, such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Access databases.
- Coodinating with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Assurance to address part issues and performance requirements.
- Familiarity with EEE parts selection, characterization, screening, restrictive usage, traceability/lot control, destructive physical analysis (DPA), and nuclear radiation requirements for space programs is required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Component Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and Product Lifecycle Management systems.
