Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload of estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and other related documents.
- Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal guidance on estate planning issues.
- Draft, review, and execute estate planning documents tailored to clients' goals.
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal estate planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal client outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to client case strategy and planning.
- Minimum 10 years of estate planning experience
- Must be Bar licensed in Illinois, in good standing.
- Strong legal writing, research, and client consultation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a client-centered environment.
- Portable book of business highly desired
- Finance background a plus
- Experience with WealthCounsel a plus
