Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

Position Summary
The Senior Estimator will lead the estimation process for complex commercial construction projects, from initial concept through final bid submission. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in cost analysis, vendor relationships, and value engineering to deliver competitive and accurate estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating Leadership : Manage all aspects of the estimating process, including quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
- Bid Development : Prepare comprehensive and accurate bids, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications.
- Cost Analysis : Analyze labor, materials, and subcontractor costs to develop detailed estimates.
- Subcontractor Coordination : Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, ensuring compliance with project scope and requirements.
- Value Engineering : Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent.
- Market Insight : Stay informed about market trends, material costs, and industry developments to inform cost projections.
- Collaboration : Work closely with preconstruction, project management, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope and budget.
- Risk Assessment : Identify potential risks in project estimates and develop mitigation strategies.
- Client Communication : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing transparency and confidence in the estimating process.
- Reporting : Present estimates and recommendations to leadership for review and approval.
