Job Title : Shipping / Receiving Manager
Location : On-site (no remote work)
Job Description : We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shipping / Receiving Manager with a strong background in the structural steel industry. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker, with previous managerial experience, and a passion for long-term employment in a dynamic environment. This position is a working supervisor role, where approximately 50% of the time will be spent operating a forklift.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the shipping and receiving department
- Supervise a team, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
- Operate a forklift to handle materials, equipment, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory
Qualifications :
Hourly Wage : $30 - $32 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00am - 3 : 45pm
