What You'll Do
- Develop and Manage Relationships: Build and maintain a small business loan portfolio, focusing on loans ranging from $500K to $1.5MM.
- Expand Clientele: Leverage your local network to attract new clients and enhance existing relationships, ensuring a robust business pipeline.
- Customize Solutions: Work directly with small business owners and key stakeholders to craft personalized lending solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and streamline loan processing, enhancing client satisfaction.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in local events, industry meetings, and community functions to boost the bank's visibility and deepen community ties.
- Proven Experience: At least 3 years of small business lending experience, with a deep understanding of the Lansing market.
- Business Development Skills: A history of successful business development and well-established Centers of Influence (COI) in the region.
- Networking Savvy: Ability to use your existing network effectively to transition and grow your book of business in a new environment.
- Expertise in Lending: Comprehensive knowledge of small business lending practices, including credit analysis and risk management.
