Job Title : Soil Scientist
Job Overview :
We are seeking a Soil Scientist with experience in on-site sewage disposal systems in Virginia. The individual must have an Alternative On-site Soil Evaluator (AOSE) license and be able to evaluate and design on-site sewage disposal systems.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct soil and site evaluations for on-site sewage disposal systems in compliance with state and local regulations.
- Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies for on-site sewage disposal system projects.
- Perform site inspections and evaluations to determine site suitability, soil characteristics, and system design options.
- Develop and prepare detailed site and soil evaluation reports, system design plans, and permit applications.
- Monitor and inspect the installation of on-site sewage disposal systems to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other staff members as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all soil and site evaluations, design plans, and installation inspections.
- Conduct research and keep abreast of developments in the field of on-site sewage disposal systems.
