Sr. Project Manager

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our group's specialization in sanitary process design build projects. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising projects to meet customer and management objectives. With a 50% travel requirement, your expertise will support the growth of our process operations in the brewery, juice, food, personal care, and carbonated soft drink industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead colleagues in project teams, including Project Engineers, Site Leads, CAD Designers, fabrication personnel, subcontractor field crews, and support teams through all phases of the project to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.
• Coordinate and direct projects to ensure successful execution and start-up.
• Analyze resource and equipment needs to plan project activities.
• Prepare budgets, bids, change orders, and contracts as well as direct the negotiation of contracts.
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, reviewing project financials, approving expenditures, enforcing policies and procedures, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
• Conduct meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project action item lists and schedules.
• Support and manage P&ID, mechanical drawings, installation, and technical specification documents.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ten (10) or more years of equivalent relatable experience.
• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
• Food, beverage, personal care project management experience in various aspects of engineering, construction, and utilities management.
• Thorough understanding of process piping systems layout and routing (Carbonated Soft Drinks, Enhanced Waters, Beer/Alcohol, CIP, Filtration, CO2, Air, Water, Steam, Glycol, Ammonia, Sweetener, Package Release).
• Ten (10) years or more proven experience leading large projects (>$5 million), coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• More than five (5) years experience in sanitary process design and applications preferred.
• Proficiency with utilized software and processes including MS Office Suite, P&ID's, PFD's, Project Management, Process, Execution, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
