Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits
- Conduct tax planning and research to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Provide strategic tax advice and guidance to clients across various industries
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation
- Assist in client engagements, including financial reporting and consulting projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and development support (Tax Manager role)
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- CPA or EA required
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Tax Senior: 3-5 years of experience in Public Accounting (Industry & Return Generalist)
- Tax Manager: 7-10 years of experience in Public Accounting (Industry & Return Generalist)
