Job Summary :
The Universal Banker is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by handling a variety of banking transactions, providing financial advice, and offering tailored banking solutions. This role combines teller duties with personal banking responsibilities, ensuring customers receive a seamless and efficient banking experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist customers with routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing.
- Open new accounts, such as checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs, while educating customers on product benefits.
- Process loan applications and provide basic financial guidance on credit cards, personal loans, and other banking products.
- Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
- Provide digital banking support, including online banking setup and troubleshooting.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex concerns when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and security procedures.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to enhance customer relationships and meet branch goals.
- Support branch operations, including end-of-day balancing and cash handling.
- Foster relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
