Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for clients to gather waste-related details (type, volume, container types, etc.).
- Prepare and update waste profiles to reflect the proper classification and handling requirements.
- Work with the General Manager to prepare proposals for waste disposal services.
- Input and maintain accurate waste data in internal systems and ensure it's ready for use by the logistics/scheduling team.
- Help coordinate with the internal scheduling team to facilitate timely and compliant pickups and deliveries.
- Support communication between the GM and sales/scheduling teams.
- Handle administrative functions such as data entry, document management, and compliance paperwork.
- Ensure alignment with all company policies and environmental regulations at the local, state, and federal level.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in waste management or hazardous materials a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with waste profiles or manifesting preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and tasks independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Willingness to learn industry regulations (RCRA knowledge is a plus).
