Welding Engineer
We specialize in providing custom-engineered equipment tailored to unique applications, whether upgrading existing systems or building new solutions at a competitive price. As a Welding / Metallurgical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in all welding-related activities and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities :
- Review customer specifications and identify project-specific welding requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and qualify welding procedures (WPS / PQR) and welder certifications.
- Oversee shop floor welding technicians and provide training to welders, fitters, and assemblers.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements through document review and inclusion in Inspection Test Plans.
- Conduct R&D on new welding techniques, equipment, and processes to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate welder performance, addressing any performance issues.
- Research and implement continuous improvement initiatives for welding and fabrication methods.
- Manage welder continuity records and produce monthly reports.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve welding-related concerns.
- Perform project management duties as needed.
