We have an opportunity for you to join the team as the Marketing Intern! The Marketing Intern will play a hands-on role in bringing GPC’s brands to life through in-person marketing events across our territory. This includes assisting with the planning, communication, and execution of activations such as sampling, giveaways, and brand promotions at retail locations, festivals, concerts, and community events.
Beyond event execution, interns will gain broad exposure to GPC’s marketing team, spending time with each member to understand their roles and responsibilities. As the summer progresses, the intern’s responsibilities outside of event activations will be shaped by their individual marketing interests and skills, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to GPC’s marketing goals.

- Assist with event planning and logistics – Help coordinate brand activations at retail locations, festivals, concerts, and community events.
- Set up and run sampling events – Engage with consumers, distribute product samples, and educate them about GPC’s brands.
- Manage giveaway promotions – Organize and execute contests, raffles, and prize distributions.
- Create social media content – Capture photos/videos at events, draft posts, and brainstorm engaging content ideas.
- Track and analyze event performance – Gather data on consumer interactions, product engagement, and event success.
- Support marketing team projects – Assist with campaign planning, research, or creative brainstorming sessions.
- Develop marketing materials – Help create flyers, event signage, or other promotional materials.
- Communicate with event partners – Coordinate with retailers, vendors, or event organizers to ensure smooth activations.
- Shadow marketing team members – Learn about different roles within the department, from digital marketing to brand partnerships.
- Assist with administrative tasks – Organize supplies, update event calendars, and support day-to-day marketing operations.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to engage with consumers and represent GPC at public events.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Salary : $17
