We have an opportunity for you to join the team as the Digital Marketing Intern! The Digital Marketing Intern will play a hands-on role in bringing GPC’s brands to life through in-person marketing events across our territory. This includes assisting with the planning, communication, and execution of activations such as sampling, giveaways, and brand promotions at retail locations, festivals, concerts, and community events.


Beyond event execution, interns will gain valuable experience in content creation and digital marketing, helping develop and amplify GPC’s online presence. They’ll work closely with the marketing team to produce engaging content, manage social media channels, and contribute to digital campaigns that connect with consumers and drive brand awareness. As the summer progresses, the intern’s responsibilities outside of event activations will be shaped by their creativity and passion for digital storytelling, allowing them to make a meaningful impact on GPC’s marketing efforts.


“A day in the life of the Digital Marketing Intern looks like:”

  • Assist with event planning and logistics – Help coordinate brand activations, ensuring marketing materials and digital content align with event themes.
  • Set up and run sampling events – Engage with consumers, distribute product samples, and capture live content for social media.
  • Manage giveaway promotions – Organize and promote contests, raffles, and prize distributions through digital and in-person channels.
  • Create social media content – Capture photos and videos at events, design graphics, draft captions, and brainstorm creative content ideas.
  • Plan and schedule social media posts – Use social media management tools to schedule, monitor, and analyze post performance across platforms.
  • Develop digital marketing materials – Assist in creating email campaigns, website updates, and online advertisements to promote events and products.
  • Track and analyze digital performance – Gather and review data on social media engagement, website traffic, and content reach to optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners – Help coordinate influencer collaborations and community partnerships to expand digital reach.
  • Stay on top of digital trends – Research and share insights on social media trends, emerging platforms, and new content formats to keep GPC ahead of the curve.
  • Assist with administrative tasks – Organize digital assets, maintain content calendars, and support day-to-day marketing operations.


What does it take to be the Digital Marketing Intern?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong creative skills with experience in social media content creation (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, SEO, and analytics tools.
  • Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and manage content calendars.
  • Proficiency in video editing software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation
