GPD is currently seeking an Entry-Level Architectural Designer for our Columbus, OH office location to support the Federal practice.

The ideal candidate will possess :
- Architectural Designer with 1 years of experience in a supporting architectural role on projects from concept through construction completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture; Master’s degree in architecture preferred.
- Experience in programming, working through creative solutions with the client, schematic design, design development, developing construction documents and specifications, and supporting projects through construction administration.
- Experience in government buildings preferred but not required.
- Revit / BIM experience required.
- Experienced and comfortable working directly with the client providing timely updates on project status, discussing project scope, etc.
- Demonstrates a customer service focus.
- Ability to work within a team environment working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, professional writing skills and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time.
- Candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Some travel may be required.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
