We are seeking a full-time Office Coordinator for our Independence, OH office. This position performs several administrative support and customer service tasks to ensure efficient operation of the Columbus office environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcoming, assisting and directing clients and other visitors, ensuring guests are comfortable and are connected with the right office personnel.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, office, kitchen areas, and conference rooms.
- Answering incoming calls and directing to the appropriate party.
- Assist HR with new hire coordination.
- Assist in organizing office meetings, including lunch and learns, and working with HR team on social events, etc.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and packages.
- Monitoring and ordering inventory for the office and kitchens.
- Ensures printer areas are stocked with copy paper and works with IT on printer maintenance concerns.
- Perform client deliveries as needed.
- Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and environment.
- Support employees with maintenance and equipment requests.
- Connects with building maintenance personnel on fitness center registrations, reserving event spaces, and/or alerting them to any maintenance issues/concerns.
- Assist with special office projects to assist other departments, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a professional office setting.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and hold self-accountable when there is down time.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and take on new challenges.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- High level of professionalism and enthusiasm that can translate our mission and values to the client/guests.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and organization skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with employees, management, and visitors.
- Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), other office productivity tools, and possess an eagerness to learn new software and systems.
