GPD is currently seeking a Part-Time Custodian for our corporate headquarters in Akron, OH.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the cleanliness and tidiness of the office space: specifically in common areas, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas
- Maintain cleanliness of entryways and reception areas
- Vacuuming and cleaning floors as needed
- Removing and disposing of debris from common areas
- Ensuring compliance with our hygiene and safety standards
- Reporting any maintenance concerns to the facility management team
- Replenishing supplies, as needed in common areas
- Dusting various surfaces areas within the office spaces.
- Assist with event set-up and tear down.
- Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests
The ideal candidate will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning experience
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures
- Good communication skills
- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time and lift up to 25-30 pounds.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
