Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general upkeep.
- Respond to service requests from residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspection schedules for property equipment and systems.
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Document work orders and maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding maintenance issues and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus (EPA, HVAC, etc.).
