We are seeking a Transportation Technical Design Lead with a Highway, Bridge, or Traffic engineering background to join our growing North Carolina practice.
This position can work out of our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC, office. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work in and grow our transportation department.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, preferably with an MS, and 15 years of progressive transportation engineering experience in Highway, Bridge, or Traffic.
Key responsibilities include performing and/or managing Transportation (Highway, Bridge, or Traffic) related projects in North Carolina, preparing or reviewing written documents, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports, and managing coordination with clients.
The successful candidate will be able to lead a team of engineers and designers, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) is required, as well as basic computer skills and the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents.
