The CAD/BIM Technician will perform architectural drafting and modeling. This role includes but is not limited to making an impact in the following areas:
- Provide as-built models from locating and scanning data captured by GPRS Project Managers.
- Import 2D and 3D data, drone imagery, and other methods of data processing to create high quality deliverables and analysis for our clients use.
- Use a variety of CAD/BIM software programs to create maps, models, drawings, and reports in 2D and 3D
- QA/QC projects to ensure accuracy and precision
- Work as part of a team and lead other’s work on projects
- Actively engage with clients through all stages of project from start to follow up, as needed
- Responsible for on-time completion, overall budget, quality, and client satisfaction on projects
- Consistently communicate internally and externally regarding project and client project status and expectations
- Keep company ERP systems accurately updated with project information and status
- Research industry trends and test and develop new solutions for continuous professional growth.
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a collaborative team focused environment with strong communication skills
- CAD, BIM, or Architecture/Engineering/GIS related degree or certificate preferred
- 2 years of modeling experience preferred
- Proficient with Revit
- Experience in building systems (HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.) is beneficial
