Job Summary:

The IT Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing security systems to identify and respond to threats in real-time. Key duties include investigating security incidents, conducting forensic investigations, implementing remediation measures, managing vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations, and delivering security awareness training. The role also involves conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, configuring and maintaining security tools, documenting and reporting incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture. Continuous improvement through security audits and staying updated on emerging threats are essential aspects of this role.

Job Goals:

  • Enhance Security Posture: Continuously improve the organization's security posture by identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing effective security controls.
  • Incident Response: Efficiently investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, and unauthorized access attempts, to minimize impact and ensure timely remediation.
  • Security Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, such as phishing awareness, password management, and data protection.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage security systems to identify and respond to security threats in real-time.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Conduct forensic investigations and implement remediation measures.
  • Perform vulnerability management by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with system administrators and stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Configure and maintain security tools and technologies.
  • Document and report security incidents, investigations, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
  • Assist in the development and updating of security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to security.
  • Participate in security audits, assessments, and exercises to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

This is an onsite position at our Corporate HQ located at 1901 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, OH.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 24 months of experience in Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365, Azure, Intune, etc.), Enterprise password management platforms, MDM platforms, vulnerability management and testing, internal and external PEN testing, and the ability to comprehend system and enterprise IT architecture.
  • Ability to travel to Meza, Arizona about 10% of the time.
