What We Need
The Fulfillment and Returns Specialist helps to ensure timely and accurate shipments of hardware to customers along with ensuring all shipments of outgoing and incoming orders/RMAs are handled and processed with accuracy and efficiency. Good candidates should have excellent technical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be able to adapt quickly to product changes, be capable of a high level of customer service, utilize online software programs and CRM tools, and be able to work well in a team environment.
What You'll Do
- Execute order fulfillments of GPS devices, GPS-related hardware, and other miscellaneous parts that help to complete the product
- Responsible for updating device firmware, scripting, and other applicable updates to ensure proper functionality prior to shipping
- Ensure orders are shipped to the correct customer location
- Achieve customer satisfaction through fast, accurate order completion
- Assist in the receiving of new inventory
- Assist with inventory control through periodic counts and weekly, quarterly, and yearly inventory reviews
- Assist with the organization and rotation of inventory to ensure First-In First-Out controls
- Process return authorization orders in an efficient and accurate manner
- Escalate warranty issues to improve customer satisfaction with product
- Provide feedback to improve processes for increasing overall team and customer satisfaction
- Learn quickly and use skills to solve problems efficiently
- Escalate unresolved issues as required; maintain ownership of issues through to resolution
- Process and assess all returned hardware
- Manage the flow of returned hardware to the proper channels
- Assist with internal and external contacts in regards to shipping inquiries, special requests, and other related tasks for shipments in progress
Requirements
- Prior work history in fulfillment, customer technical support or advance clerical positions
- Previous history/knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other carriers for parcel shipping
- Able to prioritize and organize efficiently
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Excel, MS Word, OneNote
- A clear understanding of maintaining inventory through an inventory management system
- A passion for taking care of internal and external customer/contacts
- A strong desire for accuracy and efficiency
- Accurate and fast typing speed
- Ambitious, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and extremely driven
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills
- A work ethic based on dedication to the company and its mission
- An eagerness to learn new business, procedures, and process with a drive for promotion
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to walk or stand up to 5 hours a day
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
