GPS is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Assemblers in Estill, SC. Our client : A Fortune 1000 manufacturing company that produces linear irrigation equipment, windmill support structures, lighting, traffic, and steel utility poles. Why you should apply :
Starting pay : $ 15.90 / hr
1st shift : 7 AM – 3 PM, Monday – Thursday, Fridays 5 AM – 1 PM

What you will do :
Complete assembly, shipping, packaging, and other labor tasks in a manufacturing environment such as :
Removing straps from coils
Pulling cable as needed in the assembly of poles
Operating basic hand and air-operated tools
Conducting quality checks using various gauges and tools
Unloading receiving trucks and checking received goods
Build plates, build structural molds
What is needed :
Stable work history, with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure
Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
