GPS is hiring for  Real Estate Paralegal / Legal Assistant  in Santee, SC!  Why you should apply :

  • Great starting pay – $18.00 / hr
  • Potential for pay increase based on experience
  • 1st shift schedule : Monday-Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM; Friday, 8 AM–3 PM
  • Additional benefits after hire, including :

    • What you will do :

  • Coordinate contracts between real estate agents, buyers, sellers, contractors, and title companies.
  • Handle client intake, gather necessary details, and enter information into the system.
  • Retrieve property data and order title searches as needed.
  • Draft deeds and prepare closing documents.
  • Maintain clear communication with lenders, agents, and clients throughout the process.
  • Organize and track files, emails, and phone records in case management software.
  • Ensure proper handling and distribution of recorded documents post-closing.

    • What you will need :

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel required)
  • Law firm experience preferred (but not required)

    • A drug-free workplace and criminal background check required.  EOE
