ABOUT THE POSITION

The Digital Strategist will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our digital platforms, optimizing digital marketing strategies to improve conversion rates, and streamlining lead generation processes to deliver marketing-qualified leads to our sales team. They will manage GQG’s marketing automation platform, Marketo, as well as our website, which is built on WordPress. The role will include executing email marketing campaigns, building lead nurtures, creating personalized experiences on GQG’s website, making updates in the WordPress CMS, and other initiatives to drive qualified leads for sales.

The candidate will have an exceptionally high attention to detail and be highly technical with working knowledge of HTML and CSS (JavaScript is a plus). We are seeking a self-starter, data-driven individual, who can work both independently and collaboratively.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and code email templates in Marketo that leverage dynamic content to deliver personalized experiences.
  • Setup lead nurture campaigns in Marketo to drive qualified leads for sales.
  • Continually refine our lead scoring programs as we gather data and feedback.
  • Create insightful reporting from Marketo, Google Analytics, and Salesforce.
  • Make content updates in the WordPress CMS.
  • Work with UX Designer to develop conversion driven landing pages for marketing campaigns.
  • Implement SEO best practices on our website.
  • Manage organic social content across our social media platforms.
  • Assist with management of Google Ads paid search account.
  • Develop A/B testing experiments across email and the website to improve conversion rates.
  • Identify and implement new marketing technologies.
  • Manage the marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) integration.
  • Work closely with marketing channel managers to execute marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the submission of digital marketing content to compliance for approval.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/MS degree in finance, economics, mathematics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS required; JavaScript preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing/marketing automation; Marketo experience preferred.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage consistent inbound requests.
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to resolve data issues to expedite and facilitate campaign delivery.
  • Experience with WordPress CMS and Salesforce CRM are a plus.
