Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Administer contrast materials as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly; report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R)(CT)
- Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform CT and X-ray independently Procedures performed on unit
- Certifications Required: BLS
