Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections, Day Shift
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team in a corrections setting. This is a day shift position, with a schedule of 0445•1715. The assignment will last for 13 weeks, with the possibility of overtime based on performance and need.
Responsibilities:

• COVID•19 vaccination required, but exemptions are accepted

• Thrives in a fast•paced environment
Please note that the work week is Saturday – Friday, and this is how overtime is calculated. You may be asked to float to different units that are within 10 • 30 minutes of each other. Refusal to float or divert will result in a Do Not Rehire (DNR) status.

- Providing nursing care to patients within a correctional facility
- Floating to different units as needed
- Adhering to all facility policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must have a Compact or Texas LVN license
- Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
- At least 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience
- Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych is a plus
- Must have IV Therapy certification
- BLS certification
