Job Summary
The laborer will work under the direction of the superintendent/foreman, responsible for carrying out logistics, equipment, and material handling, as well as assisting with the installation of work. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Participate in the execution and completion of work, including supply chain logistics, equipment/materials management, and installation of work.
- Load and unload trucks, track and inspect deliveries, and maintain barcode tags for inventory control.
- Ensure materials and equipment are placed in designated lay-down areas and properly designates the location and storage of flammable liquids.
- Signal and flag crane and truck operators, rig loads for hoisting, and assist in inspection of fall protection equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair on equipment and serve as a confined space attendant and fire watch for welding and other hot work applications.
Qualified Candidate:
- Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions and assume the physical risks associated with an outdoor environment.
- Must have the ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds, and pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
