About the Role
The GR Company is seeking a highly motivated Associate Public Policy Manager to join our Washington, D.C. office, with a primary focus on supporting our operations in Korea. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting government relations projects related to Korea while acting as a liaison between US-based clients and our project teams in Seoul. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile government affairs and public policy projects with world-leading corporations, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client-specific research and analysis on policy issues, delivering high-quality reports.
- Develop strategic outreach and engagement plans for clients, mapping realistic pathways to success.
- Collaborate with senior management on business development and marketing initiatives in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and effectively handle communication.
- Generate innovative ideas and contribute to new business development proposals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in English is essential, both spoken and written, with strong Korean spoken and reading skills required (writing in Korean would be a plus).
- 5 years of relevant experience in government, public policy, government relations, or consulting.
- Good understanding of Korean politics, the policy-making process, and U.S.-Korea relations.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with an ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proactive and creative problem-solving abilities, working well within an international, expert team.
- An enthusiastic approach to contributing to policy dialogue and addressing real-world challenges.
- A positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude.

Education & Qualifications
