About the Role:
We are hiring a motivated and dependable Working Supervisor to lead janitorial operations based out of Novi, MI, with oversight and support responsibilities for multiple nearby locations (within a 1.5-hour radius). This is a hands-on leadership role that blends supervision, training, hiring, and quality control, with a strong focus on supporting teams and building great client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for the home location in Novi, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Train and coach team members to meet quality and safety standards
- Provide shift coverage when necessary (hands-on cleaning may be required)
- Conduct site visits and audits to ensure service excellence across multiple locations
- Build and maintain positive employee relationships and a strong team culture
- Support communication with clients as needed
- Travel to locations within approximately a 1.5-hour radius (mileage paid)
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in janitorial or facility services
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for long periods
