- Hardware Sales Associate
Local hardware store is hiring immediately for a Sales Associate. For this position, you must have forklift experience and a valid driver's license. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, an upbeat personality, and a strong work ethic. If you meet all requirements, please apply!
- Hardware store knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask. Evenings, Weekends and some Holidays required.
- Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention.
- Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via telephone.
- Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise on the shelves. Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized retail store.
- Ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given.
- Willingness to learn about new items and procedures quickly. Flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed.
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- Capable of regularly lifting 50 lbs. and possibly more on occasion with assistance with frequent kneeling, bending and stooping. Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
