JOB DESCRIPTION
Servers and Server Assistants
Both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Servers and Server Assistants are the direct line of communication between the guest and the
restaurant staff, and the biggest promoter of the guest experience within the restaurant. Grace
Prime Steakhouse servers pair guests with Amazing Steaks and drink choices that are sure to
match their palates. They are encouraged to become well-acquainted with their tables, and provide
an experience that is not just enjoyable, but memorable as well. They should take pride in providing
an elevated experience to guests. Servers must always maintain professionalism in their behavior
and personal appearance both with their tables and behind-the-scenes.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different areas and other kitchens in the restaurant on a timely basis.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks
Must be able to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. frequently Requires grasping, writing, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening & hearing ability, and visual acuity
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates
ESSENTIAL:
Proper wine presentation.
Good food and beverage knowledge.
Experience with, or an understanding of, how to operate a POS system.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have natural hair color.
Professional and clean appearance.
Must have a genuine sense of hospitality.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
A team-oriented attitude.
Eagerness to learn and to improve as a server.
Passion for hospitality and service.
Weekend availability.
OTHER:
Communicate respectfully with all staff members
Participate in pre-service lineups
Support Chefs and FOH Operations to ensure restaurant service exceeds the guests’ expectations
Conduct self with a high level of integrity
