Job Summary
Grace Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Middle School teacher to teach (grades 6th - 8th). The applicant will need to create learning experiences that make English meaningful for students. Utilize a variety of materials, resources, and technology that will promote the development of critical thinking, problem solving and improvement of student learning.
Duties and responsibilities
- Biblical Integration
- Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities.
- Create positive/ Godly educational environment for students to learn in.
- Meet course and school-wide student objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions.
- Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year.
- Maintain grade book/attendance in RenWeb.
- Grade papers and perform other teacher duties as needed.
- Create English projects designed to enhance lectures.
- Create lesson plans.
- Utilize English curriculum resources.

Qualifications
- Strong classroom management skills and experience working with children in a middle school setting
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development, particularly in English
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on mentoring and tutoring students
- Familiarity with standardized testing and special education practices
- Ability to integrate learning technology into the classroom and adapt to diverse learning needs
