KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Grace is a multi-site, non-denominational church committed to a workplace that equips interns with an excellent opportunity to experience ministry in a local church context. The Grace Kids Worship Arts Intern will work closely with the Grace Kids Worship Arts Manager to gain hands-on ministry experience, learning about kids worship arts programming and leadership. Responsibilities include:
- Internship Duration: May – August (flexibility based on university schedules).
- Assist in preparing worship elements for Sunday morning programming.
- Help coordinate music, lyric slides, and tech sheets for worship sessions.
- Collaborate with Grace Kids Team for efficient and effective ministry.
- Collaborate with the Grace Kids Team for department-wide events and programming (VBS, KampOut!)
- Help create engaging social media content under the guidance of the Grace Kids Worship Arts Manager.
- Assist in capturing photos and videos during live programming and events for promotional use.
- Be an active, energetic presence during live programming, engaging with kids and volunteers.
- Participate in staff meetings and shadow the Grace Kids Worship Arts Manager to learn leadership and ministry skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
- Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in worship ministry or ministry related field preferred.
- Experience: Missions heart to share the Gospel and win the next generation for Jesus!
- Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church.
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
- Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
