What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Campus Pastor position at Grace Church?
Help lead the weekend services, including hosting as needed.
- Plan and execute campus-wide Leader Trainings, Equipping Events, and Connecting opportunities.
- Create on-ramps into biblical community through GroupLife, ReEngage, Regeneration, and Care Ministries.
- Leverage Men's Roundtable and Ezer to ensure men and women are being equipped and discipled.
- Take leadership responsibilities for various ministries to build structure that allows more members to serve within the church.
- Lead the membership process where there are clear next steps from first time visitors to covenant members.
- Utilize Discovery to create clarity for new families.
- Follow up with families from Discovery to connect them with Foundations.
- Work with the pastoral team to complete membership interviews.
- Connect Foundations participants in community and serving.
- Create a healthy leadership pipeline within your responsible ministries.
- Develop and train volunteers to effectively disciple others.
- When needed, redirect volunteers to other serving roles that are a better fit.
- Build partnerships in the community where Grace members can serve for Outreach.
- Learn the operational side of campus leadership.
- Create a campus calendar that reflects campus-specific goals.
- Build relationships with all central departments that are mutually beneficial.
Identify visitors through Connect Team, Kids Ministry, and Student Ministry.
Recruit and onboard new volunteers.
Manage campus budget.
Work alongside the Campus Pastor to lead and develop the staff and ministry teams. This role will have a variety of leadership experiences based on the needs of the campus and individual strengths. All Pastoral staff are required to live under the authority of scripture in alignment with the biblical definition of eldership.
