KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grace Kids Early Childhood Coordinator will create an environment in which all Grace Kids Early Childhood (EC) ministry is executed with excellence and care. This role will implement a fantastic ministry geared towards children ages 6 weeks-5 years old that is Jesus-centered, safe, and fun while building caring and pastoral relationships with families and volunteers. They will be responsible for:
- Effectively contribute to, communicate, and champion the vision for Grace Church as a whole, Grace Kids & NXT Gen ministries.
- Energize ministry through presence during live programming (Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
- Collaborate with Grace Kids Staff (Director, Managers, Associate, Coordinators, ADMIN) regarding every aspect of early childhood programming.
- Execute all tasks necessary to prepare for, deliver during, and follow-up after Sunday morning and Wednesday night early childhood programming.
- Execute tasks as assigned by the Early Childhood Manager to ensure classroom supplies and equipment are functional shared well with all ministries (ie Grace Beginnings, Tuesday Mornings, Students).
- Conduct weekly meetings with Early Childhood disciplers.
- Aid in growing the Early Childhood discipler community.
- Organize and oversee all supplies and resources for Early Childhood Programming.
- Network with Grace Church – Chaska and kid’s ministries from other churches.
- Collaboration with Grace Kids Staff for department-wide events and programming (E.g. Summer VBS, Holiday services, etc.).
- Assist with church-wide events.
- Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
- Education preferred (not required): Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience preferred (not required): 2 years of experience in roles involving the key duties, responsibilities, and expectations of the position
