Position Overview
Grace Counseling and Wellness, a group private practice based in North Carolina, is seeking part-time and/or full-time psychotherapists to join our team. This position will begin remotely, providing telehealth services until further notice. Our virtual offices are headquartered in Burlington, NC, offering quality mental health services from the Triad to the Triangle and beyond.
Requirements
- Licensed for independent practice in North Carolina (supervised licensees working toward full licensure will be considered).
- Preferred: 2 years of experience, CAQH registration, and BCBS paneling.
- Interest in working with clients across the lifespan, with specific training in working with children, adolescents, families, or couples.
- Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists are welcome to apply.
- Must be independent, driven, and a positive addition to our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site/telehealth clinical counseling services to clients as scheduled and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure regular, reliable attendance and timely arrival to work.
- Maintain proper licensing and adhere to all relevant laws, rules, regulations, and ethics codes.
- Respond to patient requests within 24 hours and provide services or referrals as needed.
- Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (e.g., PCP, psychiatrist, school) as necessary.
- Complete accurate and timely written records for each patient, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other required documents.
- Charge and collect payments from clients in accordance with established policies and rates.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services professionally to maintain and enhance the goodwill and reputation of Grace Counseling and Wellness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Alignment with Grace Counseling and Wellness’s mission, vision, and values.
- Punctuality and reliability in reporting to work.
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
- Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW(A), LMFT(A), or LCMHC(A)) in North Carolina.
- Availability to hold at least 15 clinical sessions per week.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred: Prior private practice experience and at least two years of post-graduate experience.
- Preferred: At least one niche market for counseling services (e.g., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management).
- Preferred: Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS.
