Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This role involves implementing educational activities that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Duties
- Support lead teacher implementing lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their growth and development.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development.
- Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Minimum six months experience working with young children. Working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to assist lead teacher providing children through engaging activities tailored to their developmental needs.
- Familiarity with toddler care and early intervention techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
