Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans that promote childhood development and early intervention strategies.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and organized learning environment.
- Engage with children during activities, providing guidance and encouragement to enhance their educational experience.
- Facilitate standardized testing preparation as directed by lead teachers.
- Provide individualized tutoring to students who may need additional support.
- Help supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of childhood development principles is essential.
- Experience in childcare or early education settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures is a plus.
- Ability to provide tutoring or educational support tailored to individual student needs.
