Job Summary:
The Secondary Administrative Assistant provides a variety of administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the school’s daily activities. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and multitasking. The Secondary Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in office management, handling inquiries, and supporting teachers and staff.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Principal, Dean of Students, and other faculty.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other communication to ensure efficient workflow.
- Coordinate and manage office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for school staff, teachers, and administrators.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other school-related documentation.
- Student and Parent Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for student and parent inquiries.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and staff through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Serve as a point of contact for student and parent inquiries.
- Recordkeeping and Filing:
- Assist in managing confidential records by legal and school policies.
- Organize and file important documents and correspondence.
- Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and coordination of school events and activities
- Assist in arranging logistics for extracurricular events, field trips, and other school-related functions.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
- Ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
