How You Will Serve at Grace:

Position Summary

Reporting to the Latham Production Manager, the Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all technical aspects (audio, video, and lighting) related to the Sunday morning services and special events at the church. The Production Coordinator will also provide leadership and oversight to the Production team alongside the Production Manager to support the Worship Arts Director’s vision for a vivid, dynamic Worship Arts department. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as a team, have a strong work ethic, a positive & supportive attitude, & commitment to quality.

Primary Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Oversee weekend preparation & setup as directed by the Production Manager.
• Provide production and technical support to the Worship Arts Director, Production Manager, and other staff as determined by the Production Manager.
• Manage and oversee operation of all production equipment (audio, video, lighting, and stage).
• Fulfill a technical operator position during the weekend service as needed, if a volunteer has not fulfilled the role.
• Work with the Production Manager to develop the master plan for the campus’ production equipment maintenance and replacement/upgrades.
• Assist the Production Manager with the continual increase in efficiency of production equipment for volunteers and staff members.
• Attend and assist in team trainings and cultural events as assigned by the Production Manager or Worship Arts Director.
• Assist in the design and building out of set designs, special elements, and event rentals.
• Submit expenses in a timely manner, consistent with Business Office policies.
• Assist in determining the annual budget for Worship & Productions alongside the Worship Arts Director and Production Manager.
• Assist with other campus events and systems as requested by Production Manager, Worship Arts Director, or Campus Pastor.
• Attend weekly departmental and campus staff meetings, and monthly All Staff meetings.
• Other duties and administrative tasks as assigned to support Grace Fellowship Worship Arts ministries.
  

Leadership

• Help build and lead the Production ministry alongside the Production Manager - guiding them with excellence toward the goal of creating an immersive worship environment that executes Grace Fellowship’s mission and vision.
• Recruit, train, empower, and retain volunteers that run the ministry.
• Work closely with the Production Manager and Worship Arts Director to plan weekend worship services.
• Coordinate and oversee Planning Center scheduling of staff and volunteers for worship environments and special events.
• Produce in-person worship services - providing oversight in the preparation and implementation of technical support for services and special events.
• Assist with technical training events and Production team gatherings to intentionally lead the team toward better relationships and skill development.
  

What You’ll Bring:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)

Required KSAs

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated experience of production, music, and stage design
• Demonstrated history of decision making
• A history of exceptional attention to detail  
• Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• An active member of Grace Fellowship
• Working knowledge of the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) 
  

Desired KSAs

• Associates degree from a 2-year college and/or 4 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of Production software and hardware (Vista by Chroma-Q, GrandMA, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, ProPresenter, Resolume, Allen and Heath consoles)
• Possess God’s gifts of leadership & the ability to learn and adapt in new technical situations quickly

• Salvation by Grace: The blood shed by Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for salvation of all who believe. Only those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God
• The Physical Return of Christ: The personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our “blessed hope” and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer
• The Bodily Resurrection: There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead. The believer will be welcomed to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting, conscious punishment
• The Church: The true Church consists of all such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office work and live sound environment
• May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time
• Visual functions being those of near vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with leadership & member businesses
• The role requires the ability to hear and distinguish a range of audio frequencies clearly, including speech and music, to ensure proper sound mixing and balance
• Transportation to & from work locations
• Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipment
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk
